The Fyre Place & Patio Shop will be sponsoring the OSCAAR Modifieds’ first of two scheduled events at Delaware Speedway on June 15. It promises to be an action-packed as the modifieds will be joined by the ISMA Super Modifieds. Notably, it marks the first race at the half-mile for OSCAAR since 2017.
The Fyre Place & Patio Shop will also be sponsoring both OSCAAR Modified events at Peterborough Speedway this season – August 3 and October 14. Notably, the second of those two dates – October 14 – sees the OSCAAR Modifieds become one of the nine different classes to hit the track as part of the legendary Autumn Colours Classic weekend.
The 1/3-mile played host to the season finale last season, putting on a show that saw Kelly Balson score his first career series victory after holding off Cory Horner and John Baker Jr.
The 2019 campaign marks the eighth season for the Queenston Chevrolet Buick GMC OSCAAR Modifieds, and promises to be jam-packed with action. With over 30 drivers already pre-registered, you can expect the championship battle to come down to the season finale for the second straight year.
OSCAAR is currently in the process of looking for additional marketing partners and sponsors for the 2019 campaign. For as little as $300.00, you could be the title sponsor for an event on the schedule.
