This year’s OSCAAR Modified campaign will mark his 51st season behind the wheel, building upon his record of 817 consecutive events without missing a night of racing since June 1987. The Velocity 250 weekend event on September 20 and 21 at Sunset Speedway serves as the track’s season-ending weekend. The event will be jam-packed, with all three OSCAAR divisions in attendance, along with the track’s home-track classes and other touring series. In the series’ last event at the Innisfil oval, Gary McLean held off a field of hungry drivers en route to victory lane.
The 2019 campaign marks the eighth season for the Queenston Chevrolet Buick GMC OSCAAR Modifieds, and promises to be jam-packed with action. With over 30 drivers already pre-registered, you can expect the championship battle to come down to the season finale for the second straight year.
